S.J. Lawrence Architect Incorporated is pleased to announce that our innovative design for the Techo-Bloc Warehouse and Showroom has been spotlighted in a recent case study by Nucor Building Systems. This feature highlights the creativity and precision of our architectural approach, reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional projects.

The Techo-Bloc project is a testament to S.J. Lawrence Architect’s expertise in creating multifunctional commercial spaces that combine both aesthetics and practicality. Located in Ottawa, Ontario, this remarkable sales showroom and warehouse is a hub for hardscaping products, showcasing a design that perfectly aligns with Techo-Bloc’s brand identity and functional needs.

The Techo-Bloc facility exemplifies modern architectural design with its sleek 50’ x 80’ single-slope framing system. A glass and aluminum curtain wall serves as the centerpiece, creating a contemporary facade that enhances natural light. The building features an intuitive layout with a showroom on the ground floor and executive offices and a boardroom on the mezzanine. Insulated metal panels and a precast system offer superior insulation and a high-quality finish, with distinctive parapets formed by precast panels extending above the roofline. The back of the building houses a versatile warehouse with two vertical lift overhead doors, meeting the business’s storage and logistical needs.
