Declan Thoms

Declan graduated with honours from the Architectural Technology program at Algonquin College. During his post-secondary education and prior to joining the S.J.Lawrence team, Declan worked as an intern technician gaining experience with commercial projects and building information modelling (BIM) software such as Revit.

Since joining SJ.Lawrence Architect Incorporated in 2022, he has continued to apply his expertise in drafting along with his in-depth knowledge of the Ontario Building Code to various residential and institutional projects. Alongside developing high-quality working drawings and details, Declan works with consultants to coordinate drawings, provides building code and zoning reviews, and completes various construction administrative tasks.

Declan has also worked as an art instructor and continues to complete various art commissions during his spare time.
