Shawn Lawrence
Shawn is a practicing architect in Ontario and Nova Scotia, with degrees from Ryerson University and the Technical University of Nova Scotia. He founded S.J.Lawrence Architect Incorporated in 1993 and has acted as principal architect and owner since. In his 35 years of architectural experience in Ottawa, he has been involved in over 1,000 projects ranging from tenant fit-ups and custom homes to large commercial, institutional and residential condominiums. He is recognized for his specialty in retirement and long-term care buildings.
As a licensed member of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), the Nova Scotia Association of Architects (NSAA) and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), Shawn remains active in the architecture community. He has also served as a housing judge for the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association.
